8 Bollywood Actors Who Starred In American TV Shows

Bollywood stars acting in Hollywood movies and Hollywood actors starring in Bollywood movies has become a super common thing these days.

With so much connection happening between the two industries, it did not come as a surprise when Anil Kapoor bagged a prominent role in the TV series 24. The television show became such a huge hit that the actor remade the same in Hindi and starred in the lead role as well.

Many actors like Dev Patel, Archie Punjabi who have acted in Hindi movies like Slumdog Millionaire or Bend It Like Beckham have went onto star in hit American television series there.

The latest addition from our Bollywood brigade is Priyanka Chopra and Nimrat Kaur who'll be seen playing FBI agent and ISI agent in Quantico and Homeland respectively.

Both of these Bollywood beauties have landed prominent roles in American TV series, proving that ethnicity cannot bind the talent. Nimrat even revealed her shooting experiences, "It was absolutely satisfying. It was such an honour to be a part of a cast featuring Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin, and I was given such amazing scenes to do."

She further added, "It was a truly enriching experience. Seeing how well the new season of ‘Homeland', featuring me, has been accepted, I can can only say I am glad I got this opportunity."
