Shahrukh, Huma & Celebs At Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards (Pics)

Shahrukh Khan entered the film industry 23 years ago and still the Badshah rules the industry, proof of that is the Dada Saheb Phalke award that he was honured with for his role in the movie, Happy New Year.

Personally speaking I do not think he deserved the award and that there were better performances by other stars but looks like no matter what any Bollywood actor does, Badshah will always be Shahrukh Khan.

He was not the only one who was presented with this award, actress Huma Qureshi won it for her role in Dedh Ishqiya, Rajkummar Rao won it for his performance in Citylights, Jackky Bhagnani won it for his movie Youngistaan and last but not the least, Tiger Shroff too won this award for his debut movie Heropanthi.

Though so many Bollywood celebrities were present at the awards ceremony, it was Shahrukh Khan who stole the show and who won over the crowd.

After receiving his award, Shahrukh said, "It's been going on for years now. I have smashed my patella now. So they are telling me I can't dance as well as I used to, which will not be such a bad thing. I am recovering now. There's no cure for this. So I will just get along, rehab it a bit," and danced to Indiawaale song and got other personalities to join him as well.

Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao has been honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his performance in Citylights.

Jackky Bhagnani

Jackky Bhagnani received Dada Saheb Phalke award for his role in the movie, Youngistaan. The film which did not win over the box office at least won him an award.
