Deepika Padukone has been roped in as the brand ambassador for Tanishq. She will be now seen in a number of ads featuring her and her loved ones to show the bond that Tanishq symoblizes.
The very first ad was for the occasion of Mother's Day where Deepika and her real life mother Ujjala are seen starring together.
The depict their real life mother-daughter relationship in the ad, talking about how she took care of the actress and how even today she dare not go against her mother. The background score, "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri adds more emotional touch to this heart-wrenching video.
Speaking about her association with the brand, Deepika said, "It is an incredible honour for me! My relationship with Tanishq goes back many years to when I used to visit the Tanishq store in Bangalore with my family. I am happy to say that by shopping there over the years we have celebrated a great relationship and now with this association it is truly a marriage! I am looking forward to an amazing few years ahead with a brand I love."
