Details About Arpita Khan-Aayush Sharma Reception In Himachal Pradesh

Salman Khan's sister, Arpita Khan who got married to Aayush Sharma last November will have yet another wedding reception, but this time it will be in her hubby's hometown, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.

A couple of months ago, Arpita got married to Aayush who is Anil Sharma, cabinet minister's son. The couple dated for 2 years before they decided to take the plunge into matrimony.

It's been 6 months since the couple got married and they seem to be more in love than they ever were. They finished their three week honeymoon trip, a bonding trip to Kashmir for Salman and even a Mumbai trip to be there during the hit and run case verdict, before they decided to head back to Himachal Pradesh for a reception ceremony.

The arrangements have already been made, SP Mohit Chawla said, "We have all necessary arrangements already in place as the event is going to attract a huge crowd. Since it being a private affair,the police have nothing to do except taking care of law and order or traffic mobility on Kullu-Manali National Highway due to tourists season."

Salman is said to be the guest of honour and therefore he took a helicopter ride to the city to attend his baby sister's reception.

Why Reception In Mandi?

Arpita married Aayush Sharma, son of Himachal Pradesh's Panchayati Raj Minister Anil Sharma, last November. So the reception is being held in the in-laws hometown.

Anil Sharma is also a cabinet minister who told,"We are honoured by the visit of Salman Khan and doubly excited at bahu's (Arpita Khan Sharma) homecoming."

Guest Count

More than 14,000 to 15,000 people, which includes all residents of Mandi town, Himachal Pradesh will be attending the wedding reception of Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma.

High Profile Guest list

Apart from the residents, Anil Sharma's assembly constituency members, top businessmen etc will be attending the function that is being held at local Gymkhana club.

The actor travelled to Sundernagar by private helicopter and then by road, his younger brother Sohail Khan was also present.

The wedding reception will have see some local folk artists hired by the Sharma family perform for the guests next to the main stage.

It is said that Salman will make a smashing entry with the folk artists playing in the background. He will enjoy the couple, Arpita and Aayush on the main stage.

Delay In Reception

The reason the reception got delayed was because of the three week honeymoon the couple took and also because of the delay in Salman's hit and run case verdict.
