Dil Dhadakne Do: What Not To Expect In Zoya Akhtar's Movie?

Dil Dhadakne Do will release in just few days. The film starring Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Zoya Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah is not going to be any ordinary Bollywood movie.

Zoya's films, Luck By Chance, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara were not typical Bollywood films and somewhere showed the reality of life.

This film too will be entertaining but in a realistic way. She is not a typical Bollywood director, so you can't expect her to direct a typical Bollywood film, so there are a lot of things that you can't expect in this movie, some of which is listed below.

Speaking about Zoya, Rahul Bose who has acted in the movie said, "She has managed to crack mainstream without succumbing to easy solutions and I really liked her debut film 'Luck by Chance'. And third and the most important was that I loved the script."

Bose, who is not doing many mainstream Hindi films, said he would like to do such projects provided "they have the fantastic three; script, director and role".

Even Shefali who won't be seen in a typical role told, "When Zoya offered me the film she said 'I want you but it is a mother's role'. I read the script and told my husband that it is one of the best scripts I have read and the role is fantastic. There were apprehensions as Priyanka and Ranveer are closer to my age. But as my character was well-written, I couldn't say no."

Unrealistic Scenes

The film is being directed by Zoya Akhtar who has always had realistic scenes in her movies, so don't expect any filmy kind of scenes in this movie.

Priyanka-Rahul Romance

Just because they are a couple, don't expect to see some chemistry in the movie, for Priyanka doesn't get turned on by him!

Just A Dog?

Apparently Aamir Khan is giving voice over for the dog in the movie. He will be voicing the thoughts of the dog in moments throughout the film, so don't expect this dog to be just any ordinary dog in the movie.

Action

Yes people! Don't expect any kind of action to take place in this movie! There is just loads and loads of drama.

Bollywood Family

This family won't be a seeda saada typical Bollywood family. This Mehra khandhan will be over the board

Cliched Role

Be it father or the mother role, essayed by Anil and Shefali respectively will not be a cliched one. This statement has come from Shefali herself, so you got to believe it.
