Shahrukh Khan's Paheli completed 10 years in 2015. Talking about it Amitabh Bachchan, who played the guest role in the movie, wrote on micro blogging site Twitter, "10th Anniversary of 'Paheli' a guest appearance in SRK film"

Shahrukh Khan also thanked Amitabh Bachchan for Paheli "@SrBachchan will never be able to thank u enough for all the time u took out from ur extremely busy schedule to come & shoot for the film."

Paheli was a fanatasy film, directed by Amol Palekar. Shahrukh Khan played double role in the film.

Shahrukh Khan had once said about the movie. ''Paheli is a woman's liberation film that deals with the issues of marriage and asks whether a woman must stay with a man only due to marriage and not because of love?''

Paheli was India's official entry for the Academy Award's Best Foreign Language Film category. It also starred Juhi Chawla, Rani Mukerji, Anupam Kher, Suniel Shetty and Rajpal Yadav.
