Gabbar Is Back To Airlift: 6 Akshay Kumar Starrer Lined Up Ahead
Akshay Kumar should be renamed as the Bollywood King. The actor has 6 movies lined up when none of the Khans' and the Kapoors' in the industry have these many films in their kitty.
When asked about him being so ahead of others, he said, "I am not interested in such stories that suggest I am better than the Khans or they are better than me. It's nothing like that. We all are one and we are all are part of the same industry."
He added, "I would want everybody's films to work because our Industry needs more and more money to make better quality films. I do not believe in competition."
Akshay has been in the industry for over 25 years now and has starred in more than 125 films. Having performed in different genres of movies like Entertainment, Holiday and Baby, Akshay Kumar is back with yet another classic like Gabbar Is Back and has lined up quite a variety of films that comprises both comedy films as well as action thrillers.
Akshay does at least three to four films a year, while none really flop at least one or two of them manage to get their name into the 100 crore club.

Gabbar Is Back
Director - Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi a.k.a. Krish
This action film is all set to hit the theaters on May 1st. Gabbar Is Back is a remake of the Tamil film Ramana directed by A. R. Murugadoss. It also stars Shruti Haasan and Kareena Kapoor.
Brothers
Director - Karan Malhotra
Yet another action mix drama film that is all set to release on 14th August. The film also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Jackie Shroff.
Singh Is Bling
Director - Prabhu Dheva
This comedy movie is all set to release on October 2nd. Singh Is Bling will have Amy Jackson playing the leading lady, this is the first time she is being cast opposite Akshay Kumar.
Airlift
Director - Raja Menon
This thriller movie is all set to release on January 22nd, 2016. This movie will have Lunchbox actress Nimrat Kaur playing the female leading role. This will be Nimrat's first out and out commercial film.
Housefull 3
Director - Sajid-Farhad
Housefull 1 and 2 were big hits and the third sequel is all set to hit the theatres on June 3rd, 2016. This comedy film will also star Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh.
Hera Pheri 3
Hera Pheri 3 makers did not announce Akshay Kumar as part of the cast but they told the sequel would continue where Hera Pheri 2 ended, meaning that the film would revolve around Akshay's character. Sources say he will be making a guest appearance in the film.
