Lara Dutta born on 16th of April 1978 celebrates her 37th birthday today. On this special day I thought of doing a little scandal flashback and revealing the complete details about her controversy involving Kelly Dorjee and Dino Morea.

Lara first met Kelly during their modelling days, he being the winner of Gladrags Model Hunt contest was much more popular and started to help Lara who was still struggling to make a mark.

She owes her career to him for it is he who helped her in the initial days. After winning the Miss India and Miss Universe contest, Lara started to do well. She even debuted in the Bollywood industry and started to bag more movie projects.

This is when trouble started to brew as Lara got more famous and Kelly started to fail. In spite of the fights, Lara once said, "He (Kelly) is one of the most stable and secure men you could ever get. People tell me that any boyfriend of mine would die a thousand deaths every minute because of the kind of lifestyle I lead."

The couple could not stay together for long, Kelly's failed acting career in Bollywood and increase insecurities caused a lot of trouble. Lara's link ups to Abhishek Bachchan did not help either.

This was the time the duo decided to put a full stop to the relationship. At this point entered Dino Morea, rumours started to rise that Lara and Dino were dating, although the couple denied it, Kellu confirmed it and created a big ruckus in front of the media accusing them of betrayal.
