Talking about Harshaali Malhotra, her mother Kajal told reporters,, "Harshaali never keeps quiet. During workshops, Mukesh (Chhabra, the casting director of Bajrangi Bhaijaan) used to tell me that he was worried how she could keep quiet.''

Kajal Malhotra also told how Salman Khan and Kabir Khan took extra care of Harshaali on the sets,"Whenever there was action or any high-pitched sound, she would get scared.''

Kajal Malhotra further added, ‘'But Salman and Kabir would take special efforts to ensure that she interacts with other co-stars by playing, after which she became comfortable during the shoot."

Harshaali Malhotra played the role of a mute Pakistani girl Shahida aka Munni in Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
