Revealed: Aishwarya Rai To Deepika, Bollywood Actresses And Their Endorsement Fees
Bollywood actors may be raking in huge moolah when it comes to movies they star in or for the brands they endorse, but that doesn't mean our Bollywood beauties are charging any less.
Deepika Padukone with her brand value and back to back hit movies has hiked up her fees to a whopping Rs 7.5 crores per endorsement deal. The actress charges almost Rs 2 crores per day for an endorsement shoot. It may surprise you but is not Aishwarya but Deepika who is charging the highest fee in India.
"No actress has quoted an amount as big as this and received it as well. Only Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are paid as exorbitantly," said an ad agency founder.
"It's commendable for an actress to hold her own in an industry that is supposed to be male-dominated," reveals a trade analyst.
After Deepika comes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is a global icon and so the brands are ready to pay whatever she demands. Her minimum charge per day for endorsements is Rs 1.5 to 1.75 crores and the rate goes upwards depending on the brand and the kind of deal they sign her for.
So basically, the actresses are giving tough competition to the actors not just in the movies but also in the advertisement world. In the current market, with back to back hit films, Deepika charges the highest fees among the Bollywood actresses. Her charge per day for endorsements is Rs 2 crores.
Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif doesn't do as many films per year as her other colleagues in the industry do, yet her brand value is super high making her quote over Rs 1.25 to 1.75 crores per day for an endorsement deal.
Alia Bhatt
The rising star in the Bollywood industry has hiked her fees close to Rs 1 crore per day for an endorsement. Not long ago, Coke brand had signed all three, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan together in a deal under Rs 2 crore.
Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha Kapoor is another budding star who replaces Katrina Kaif in the Veet ads. The actress charges Rs 60-70 lakh per day for an endorsement.
Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma who has been in the field longer than Shraddha and Alia has not yet hiked her fees to crores. She charges Rs 60-70 lakh per day.
Priyanka Chopra
