60th Britannia Filmfare awards will take place on January 31st, 2015. While the nominations for the same have been announced last week, with just few days left for the ceremony we thought of doing a little guess work as to what will happen on the D-day.
We can be exactly right, but based on the audience liking, viewer's choice and my personal liking as well, I have collaborated the winners list for the 2015 Filmfare awards show.
This is just a prediction that I would be listing based on the viewer's opinion. This year two major Khan's-Salman and Shahrukh are missing in the nominations list, for many young stars have outdone the Khan's when it comes to portrayal for tough roles and offering best films.
Shahid Kapoor was the shining star of 2014 with his portrayal of Haider in the film by the same name while small actor Randeep Hooda too jumped into the main league with his film Rang Rasiya.
Speaking on not being nominated, Shahrukh said, "I haven't acted well enough. I don't think I should be nominated. I did one film last year and since I have hosted two shows I know there are seven others or rather seventy other people who are better than me. I cannot be nominated for acting for Happy New Year. Yes, the film has done very well but as an actor I don't think I deserve to be nominated."
Well, the actor is right! Even though his movie was a hit, you cannot compare him with the likes of Shahid or Randeep. The show will take place on Saturday but will be aired on Sunday 8th February at 20:00 on Sony TV.
Having said that, it is time we move on with our predictions list, guessing who will be winning which award this year.
Queen directed by Vikas and starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role is sure to win the Best Film award.
Best director award will again probably go to Queen's director Vikas Bahl for this was the best film of the year.
BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE (MALE):
Shahid Kapoor will for sure win the best actor in a leading role award because his portrayal of Haider could not have been better and was one of the toughest roles essayed this year.
BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE (FEMALE):
Priyanka Chopra will win this hands down for she worked very hard for this role, from looks, to body to essaying real life Mary Kom, Priyanka was just perfect.
BEST ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE (MALE):
Tahir Raj Bhasin who played the villain in Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani will win the best actor in supporting role award, because he was truly the best villain of 2014.
BEST ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE (FEMALE):
If any body saw Haider, they'll agree with me! Tabu truly deserves this award for her portrayal in the film.
Mithoon, Ankit Tiwari and SOCH will win the best music awards for Ek Villain as all the songs were chart-bursting numbers with people addicted to it even today.
Kausar Munir is going to win this award for the lyrics of Suno na sangemarmar from Youngistaan. The song had a soul thanks to his powerful lyrics.
BEST PLAYBACK SINGER (MALE):
Ankit Tiwari will probably win the Best singer award in the male category for his song Galliyan from Ek Villain for this was truly one of the most loved song of the year.
BEST PLAYBACK SINGER (FEMALE):
Jyoti Nooran and Sultana Nooran will probably win the Best singer award in the female category for the song Patakha guddi from Highway.
