The leggy lass, Kriti Sanon, debuted in Bollywood through the movie Heropanti, and starred alongside debutant Tiger Shroff in the year 2014. The movie, fared moderately at the box office and failed to make a huge impact.
Opportunity came knocking when Rohit Shetty approached Kriti Sanon to star in Dilwale. The actress, was paired alongside Varun Dhawan and the movie also starred Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. Dilwale, made a worldwide collection of 365 Crores and the film-makers were satisfied with the financial results.
However, the audiences ended up being disappointed as Shahrukh Khan starrer Dilwale, failed to meet their expectations. A lot of people expressed their displeasure about the film, and spoke about it in poor taste.
After Heropanti and Dilwale, Kriti Sanon is currently shooting for her upcoming flick titled, Raabta, starring opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The duo, are currently shooting at the exotic locations of Budapest, Hungary.
The film-makers of Raabta, had initially signed the bubbly Alia Bhatt as the lead actress in the film, however due to the date issues, Alia Bhatt decided to back out of the movie and the film-makers approached Kriti Sanon and she gave her nod for the film.
Raabta, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon is scheduled to hit the theatres on February 10, 2017.
