Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will walk the red carpet on May 13 and 14 this year. The diva recently talked about her first Cannes visit during the promotions of Sarbjit.

She said, "It wasn't for an individual but for the entire team of Devdas. It meant a lot to us because it was quite unexpected. We were showcasing our film and getting that kind of reception that we did was truly overwhelming. The first visit was so memorable. Imagine having a first experience like that.''

''It is something and I don't think anyone in the world can take that away from us and that is something that will always make us feel thankful for having that experience for us to cherish and recount forever,'' she added.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan favourite designer Neeta Lulla designed her dresses for her first Cannes Film Festival in 2002. She wore a yellow sari and heavy-duty gold jewellery at the screening Of Devdas at the Cannes Film Festival.

In the year 2007, Aishwarya Rai married Abhishek Bachchan and they appeared together for the first time on the Cannes red carpet and those pictures are some of the best clicks of the power couple.
