Talking about her initial days, Katrina Kaif had told Filmfare, ''I don't see it as struggle. The body of work is huge. For the first two years, I worked as a model. I would go to the casting agencies, with my pictures, would do auditions for them, then do shows every day, travel around the country.''

Katrina Kaif further added, ''Later, I did three South Indian films. Then I got into the Hindi films and I've worked every single day. Today when I see a random picture from a photo shoot and I'm like yeah I did that ages ago. So, I've been at it consistently.''

''There was a transition where at first I wasn't accepted by the industry or courted by them to now when I know everyone? No one walks into any industry as a newcomer with trumpets behind them. Okay a few do. But most of us have to prove ourselves. Why should people put money on you?'' the beautiful actress said.
