Raees Vs Kaabil
The crack in Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan's friendship came because of the box office clash between their movies Raees and Kaabil. Both the movies will hit the screens in January 2017.
The cold war between Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan began due to Raees and Kaabil's clash of release date (January 26, 2017). Talking about the same, a source has revealed to Bollywood Life, "SRK and Hrithik hardly talk or meet socially now. They have fallen apart and now the spat has becoming public. But Shah Rukh is still very fond of his dad Rakesh Roshan with whom he's worked in Karan Arjun and Koyla. Now that their films are clashing things are only looking downhill."
On July 18 night, Shahrukh Khan had visited Hrithik Roshan's house to meet his father, producer Rakesh Roshan, to discuss the clash and somehow resolve it. He had tweeted about the meeting without mentioning Kaabil and Raees. "Met friend/mentor/family after many a days.Mr. R.Roshan reminded me...it's not important to do 2 much, it's important to get 1 right. Thx sir.''
After this meeting many people thought that Rakesh and Hrithik had decided to shift Kaabil's release date and now everything is fine between Hrithik and SRK. However, the very next day, Rakesh told Bombay Times that his film was releasing on Republic Day and he has no plans to shift the date.
