Sonakshi is one of those actresses, who is often in limelight owing to her concern for social cause. In fact, her most of the tweets are meant to cause awareness and aware people about wrong happenings around the nation.
Recently, we got to know that Sonakshi is plannning to leave for Nepal, to raise funds for those who were badly affected by a major earthquake, which took place last year (2015).
Not just that, recently, Sonakshi Sinha auctioned her painting for a good cause. A source close to Sonakshi reveals to a leading daily andaid, "The auction took place on May 8. This is the first time that Sonakshi has presented her artwork at a public event. She only chose to do so because it was for a good cause."
Sonakshi confirmed the news, and told HT, "I have been painting for a while now, and I am still attached to them (her artwork). I had been contemplating what I should do next [with the paintings] for a while now. So, when I was asked to donate something for a cause like breast cancer, I thought, 'Why not my painting?' It feels great when you can use your talent to make a difference. I feel like my art has found its purpose."
