THROWBACK! When Amitabh Bachchan HIT Randhir Kapoor & Kareena Kapoor Came To His Rescue!

In his old blog, Amitabh Bachchan had once revealed how Kareena Kapoor came running to save her father, when he was being beaten up by Big B.

There was a big hue and cry when Amitabh Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were roped in for Prakash Jha's Satyagraha. You must be aware of the fact that the Bachchans had a strained relationship with the Kapoor family ever since Abhishek Bachchan's engagement with Karisma Kapoor was called off a decade ago.

There is no need to say that now, as everything is okay between the Bachchans & the Kapoors.

We have come across an old blog of Amitabh Bachchan, which he penned down during the shoot of Satyagraha. In the blog, Big B had revealed how Kareena Kapoor came running to save her father Randhir Kapoor, when he was being beaten up by Big B!

When Big B Recalled Kareena's Childhood Moments

"I joke with her and wonder at the fact of her growing up so fast. It is in reference to when she was a little kid, and the times spent with her and her parents on outdoor locations where Dabboo, Randhir Kapoor and I would often be working together."

When Kareena Got Disturbed Seeing Her Father Beaten Up By Big B

"I was narrating to her, one such moment when we were shooting for ‘Pukar' in Goa and how she looked with her cute summer hat with little pink flowers on them, and how troubled she had been when during an action sequence I was hitting her Father."

Awww!

"She in her innocence had run on to the set in the outdoors and clung to her Father to protect him from this ‘evil' man who was beating him up..."

Later, Big B Washed Kareena's Tiny Feet

"In tears and most worried, she was relentless and very disturbed. She soiled her pretty little feet in the sand and in order to settle her down I had asked for some water and washed her tiny feet clean, to make her realise that this act was not for real, but an enactment."

The Kareena Realised Big B Wasn't That 'Evil' "

"I think after the feet washing, her opinion seemed to have changed about me. I wasn't that ‘evil' after all !! She still remembers that moment !!"

Big B On 'The Kapoors'

Apart from Kareena, Big B had also mentioned about Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor, Karishma and Ranbir in his blog.

"Some day we must talk about the premier family of the Industry - the Kapoors, right from PrithiviRaj Kapoor, father of Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor and then on to Dabboo, Chintu and Chimpu and Kareena, and Karishma down to Ranbir and the newest entrant Armaan - Rima's son .. Rima, Raj Kapoor's second daughter. His first daughter, Ritu's, son Nikhil, is married to my daughter Shweta ..." Amitabh wrote.

Big B-Kareena's Recent Film

Mr Bachchan & Kareena were last seen in Ki & Ka, where Big B had a cameo in the film, along with his wife Jaya Bachchan.

Big B, On The Work Front

On the professional front, Mr Bachchan is gearing up for his next film, Sarkaar 3, directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The film also casts Yami Gautam & Amit Sadh in the key roles.
