Good looks and solid acting chops runs in his genes...we are talking about Ishaan Khatter who stole the show this year right with his first impression. Son of Bollywood actors, Neelima Azim and Rajesh Khatter, Ishaan completed his schooling from Jamnabai Narsee and Billabong High International School. Following his half-brother Shahid Kapoor's footsteps, the boy enrolled into Shiamak Davar's Dance Academy.
After appearing as a child actor in Shahid's 'Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi' and worked as an assistant director on Udta Punjab. And then, Ishaan got to live his dream! The actor bagged his first project and that too,a Majid Majidi film in the form of 'Beyond The Clouds'. This was followed by Karan Johar's much-hyped 'Dhadak'. Both the flicks earned him rave reviews for his performance.

Impeccable Acting Skills
'First impression is the last impression' and Ishaan proved this right with a show-stealing performance in his debut film, 'Beyond The Clouds'. With his roguish smile, deliciously charming screen presence and commendable acting, Ishaan made sure the audience took notice of him.
He further left everyone wide-eyed when he pulled off his character Madhukar in Dhadak with sincerity and churned a wide range of emotions in the audience.

He Is A Mumma's Boy
The young actor is quite close to his mother and calls her his 'best friend and biggest critic'. He revealed in one of his interviews, "She would often put her own feelings in the back seat to take care of others. That's an act of selflessness. For many years, I saw her go through emotional strain and difficulties. She had more on her plate than she could deal with while taking care of us.
I often saw her go through changes in her personality. She is a lovely person, that's why it's important for me to give her all the comfort, happiness and satisfaction I can. I have great admiration for her."
He & Shahid Never Fail To Drop Sibling Goals
Talking about his equation with Shahid, Ishaan says, "I have always had open conversations with Shahid. He would discuss what he felt as a performer, and I would talk to him about his performances. On occasion, he would feel that I have critiqued him, but I only did to understand the craft better. I have been influenced by him as an actor. He is a beautiful performer."
In yet another interview, Ishaan shared that Shahid is the 'wise old man' in their family and is more of a philosopher'. In turn, Shahid too had confessed that he's quite protective of Ishaan.
