Aamir Khan's Mangal Pandey: The Rising showcased the first Indian rebellion of 1857, in which a brave sepoy, Mangal Pandey revolted against the British and laid the groundwork for the Indian independence movement. The movie is also considered as one of the best patriotic movies in India.
