While the three major Khans- Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir failed to impress, the audience embraced small films with a heart like Raazi, Stree, AndhaDhun, Badhaai Ho amongst others with actors like Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana wooing us with their charm and acting prowess. Finally, the year ended with Ranveer Singh's Simmba roaring loud at the box office.
