From Haiwaan To Welcome In The Jungle: The OGs Are Set For Their Big Return!

Bollywood is clearly in its reunion era and we are not complaining! Whether it be the madness of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, the nostalgia-packed humour of Hera Pheri trio, or the star power of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, these comebacks promise a perfect blend of glamour and comedy with heart.

From Haiwaan to Welcome to the Jungle, the OGs are set to recreate their timeless magic and honestly, we're here for every bit of it.

Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan (Haiwaan)

Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar were the definition of cool chaos back in the 90s, the ultimate hit duo. The audience loved their chemistry, brotherhood, and how they matched each other's energy. Whether it was the buddy-cop madness of Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994) or their stylish bravado in Tashan (2008), their effortless chemistry and contrasting energies stayed deep within the audience's hearts.

The duo is finally reuniting in Haiwaan, to be directed by Priyadarshan. The film will be produced by KVN Productions in association with Thespian Films and jointly produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn. With Priyadarshan's classic storytelling to Akshay-Saif's timeless charm, the expectations are sky-high. The film is set to release early 2026.

From Haiwaan To Welcome In The Jungle The OGs Are Set

The OG Trio: Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty (Welcome to the Jungle)

The face of bollywood comedy films completely changed after the iconic Hera Pheri (2000). Akshay's Raju, Paresh Rawal's Baburao, and Suniel Shetty's Shyam became generational cultural icons. They were meme material before memes were even a thing. The love only multiplied with Phir Hera Pheri (2006), cementing the trio's legendary status.

Now, years later, fans are finally being heard with the comeback of the OG trio. With the third installment in the Hera Pheri franchise, the trio will reunite in the Ahmed Khan directed Welcome to the Jungle. The film will be produced by Firoz. A. Nadiadwallah under the banner Base Group of Industries. The film promises audiences a grand cinematic experience with its special blend of music, comedy, and thrilling action and will hit the theatres in 2026.

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone (King)

When Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone first appeared together in the iconic film Om Shanti Om (2007), the world was swooned by their effortless chemistry and the pair became an instant hit among audiences. The chemistry only got stronger through films like Chennai Express (2013), Happy New Year (2018), and most recently, Jawaan (2023).

They are back yet again, starring together in the Siddharth Anand-directed action-packed film King where Deepika will reportedly have a romantic angle opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The film will be produced by Siddharth Anand, Gauri Khan, and Mamta Anand under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. It will be released in theatres in 2026.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt (Love and War)

Few couples blur the line between reel and real quite like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Their on-screen pairing in Ayan Mukherji's Brahmastra Part - 1: Shiva (2022), introduced the audience to a romantic duo that felt real and unreal at the same time, marking a place in their hearts.

The couple graces us with their presence yet again and better under the grand vision of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's
Love And War. Given Bhansali's flair for epic and unforgettable romances, this reunion promises the same chemistry, some drama, and a lot of romance. The film will be produced under the banner on Bhansali Productions and is set to hit the theatres in Christmas 2026

Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma (Rahu Ketu)

The duo has been known for their roles in the Fukrey franchise. Both of them are winning hearts with their acting performances and comedic timing. They garnered praise also for their on-screen brotherhood which only grew stronger with each film in the franchise.

They are collaborating yet again for a fantasy-comedy film, Rahu Ketu. The film will be produced by Pragati Deshmukh, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Varsha Kukreja under the banners of Zee Studios, Blive Productions and is coming to theatres on January 16, 2026.

These reunions aren't just about nostalgia, they bring back the charm, chemistry, friendships, and cinematic memories that shaped our movie-going years for a long time. Some pairs are simply unforgettable and it looks like Bollywood is recreating those days and we can't wait! From our OG Hera Pheri's trio reuniting in

Welcome to the Jungle to the chaotic Tashan duo reuniting in Haiwaan, looks like the theatres are going to be packed this 2026.
