Back in 2020, after the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Kangana Ranaut was seen making some explosive claims related to Bollywood and its nexus. She first alleged that his death was not a suicide but rather a murder, and that it was orchestrated by prominent figures who conspired against him. In addition, she also attacked Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker for their support of filmmaker Karan Johar. Kangana frequently shared videos blaming the industry for Rajput's death and reverted back to her ongoing dispute with Hrithik Roshan.

It all started when politician and former actress Nagma expressed her disagreement with Kangana Ranaut's stance against nepotism, citing the actress's own practise of nepotism and benefiting from people she accused of promoting it. In response, Kangana's team disclosed that she was compelled to act in the movie "Krrish 3," which starred Hrithik Roshan.

NAGMA ACCUSED KANGANA RANAUT OF HYPOCRISY

Nagma had tweeted, "Kangana's 'entire career is standing on a pillar of nepotism." Alongside a collage of pictures featuring the actress with Emraan Hashmi, who was her first co-star, Mahesh Bhatt (her first producer), and Aditya Pancholi (former boyfriend). She had said that Kangana was helped by Hrithik Roshan when her career was going downhill by relaunching her in two movies. She also accused Kangana of hiring her sister as her manager and is now engaged in a campaign against those she has issues with after Sushant Singh Rajput's passing. Nagma also referred to Kangana as a "hypocrite."

In response to the allegations, Kangana Ranaut's team called out Nagma for spreading false allegations. They said that Aditya Pancholi was never Kangana's boyfriend, but instead promised to be her mentor before allegedly becoming abusive towards her, and stated that Pancholi did not introduce Kangana to Anurag Basu, who directed her debut film.

Kangana Ranaut's team further revealed that her career suffered a setback after her role in Kites was just relegated to only being a background dancer, because of which she had declined the offer to star in "Krrish." However, she stated that she was pressured to act in the film.
