In an old episode of Annu Kapoor's radio show, "Suhana Safar with Annu Kapoor," the host recounted an anecdote involving Madhuri Dixit. He mentioned that Madhuri was compelled to perform a rape scene with Bollywood's famous villain, Ranjit.
When Madhuri expressed her concerns, the director told her that she cnnot not quit it now.
A Twitter user raised concerns about the episode, highlighting that Annu Kapoor's narration appeared to be insensitive and sensationalised the incident rather than focusing on the underlying issue.
The internet user added that the entire crew had clapped for the actress after the scene, who was too shaken at that moment. To even utter a word.
The tweet read: "Annu Kapoor's tone-deaf narration made the incident a juicy tidbit, not the disgusting exploitation it was.
