Kareena Kapoor Koffee With Karan: In a delightful throwback to an iconic episode of Koffee with Karan Season 2, Kareena Kapoor created waves when she opened up about her relationship with actress Priyanka Chopra. A clip from the episode when Kareena graced the Koffee couch has resurfaced on social media, which reminded the fans of the candid and unfiltered conversation between Kareena and Karan.

Kareena opened up about her closest friend in the film industry and she took the name of Amrita Arora. To which Karan quizzed about her friendship with Priyanka Chopra. She said on the show, "As I would say my closest friend is Amrita Arora, she is my only genuine best friend who is an actress."

Karan intervenes and says, 'You were very close with Priyanka Chopra, has that been maintained, or is that over?' To which Kareena replied 'No, it hasn't'. She added, "I think we are acquaintances. We work together in the same fraternity and I think it's best that it's that way."

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Kareena Kapoor Khan shared the screen in films like Akshay Kumar starrer Aitraaz (2004) and Shah Rukh Khan led Don (2006). During their time working together, it was rumored that the two had developed a strong bond. However, their friendship reportedly faced a rough patch when Shahid Kapoor, Kareena's ex-boyfriend, started dating Priyanka after his breakup with Kareena.

In 2011, during an interview Zoom, Priyanka addressed the buzz and said, "Well, Kareena and I have never been friends. We have hung out, we have a group of common friends and that time we used to hang out a lot. We were on a holiday together and stuff like that... I think we were working on a film together as well, and that's how we kinda bonded, but I think she got busy with her life and I got busy with mine."
