When Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya Called Shah Rukh Khan 'Commercial Person’: Woh Apne Success Aur Apne Career

Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya Shocking Comments On Shah Rukh Khan: In the early days of his career, noted playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya had sung numerous melodious hits for actor Shah Rukh Khan, like Badi Mushkil Hai," "Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Mein," "Main Koi Aisa Geet," "Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha," and many more.
However, their relationship soured eventually, and Abhijeet ceased to sing for the star. The last song Abhijeet sang for SRK was for the 2009 movie Billu. Undoubtedly, they both created some of their most iconic songs when the two joined forces.
In an old interview, the singer opened up about his perspective on Shah Rukh's patriotism and how commercial he is as a human.
Abhijeet Bhattacharya's shocking comments on SRK
During an old interview with Lehren Retro, Bhattacharya noted that his and SRK's personalities are not much different and went on to praise him, calling him a self-made man with self-respect and self-esteem.
However, in the same interview, he also made some startling revelations about the Pathaan star's character. He mentioned that he tried to resolve the personal differences between them a couple of times, but his efforts went in vain. He also added that SRK is a very commercial person who can use individuals and remove them from his path to success.
"Shah Rukh Khan is a very commercial person, very commercial. Woh apne success aur apne career ke liye kisi ko bhi side mein kar sakta hai. Woh use karega unko."
In the same interview, he also stated that it's wrong to label SRK as a anti-national. He said, "There is no bigger nationalist than Shah Rukh Khan. Consider the films he has made - Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Swades, Asoka et al. How can such allegations be made against him, especially when he has always promoted Hindu culture in his movies."
"Among the Khans, Shah Rukh Khan is the only nationalist. Others don't really have anything to do with the nation," the singer asserted.
Shah Rukh Khan, on the work front, is gearing up for his next release, Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also features Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in key roles.
