Cited as the "first female superstar" of Indian cinema, Sridevi remained at the top pf her game for almost 5 decades. She predominantly worked in the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industry. When Sridevi Fell In Love With Married Boney Kapoor

According to reports, producer Boney Kapoor was smitten by the actress when he first saw her in a Tamil film. Later, he signed the late actress for 'Mr. India'. The two fell in love with each other on the sets of the film. For those unversed, Boney Kapoor was already married to Mona Shourie Kapoor. Boney got married to Mona in 1983 and was married to her till 1996, post which he tied the knot with Sridevi.

Sridevi had a controversial death. The actress had passed away on 24th February in 2018 at the age of 54. She was found dead of an accidental drowning in her guest room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
