The Mourya Re track from the soundtrack of the forthcoming Don, currently making waves given the Ganpati season in Mumbai, was actually redone. Not many know that when some singers came in to dub extracts of it, the distressful reality dawned on the composers, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, that the song had been accidentally wiped out from the tape.

In an interview to the Sunday Soundtrack program on the BBC, the composers confirmed the occurrence of the mini-calamity of sorts! They said, "When we asked the engineer to play it, we realized it was gone. It had been erased by mistake. There was absolute silence. We didn't have an option and had to redo it. The engineer was sacked!"

The track was successfully redone and has bagged immense appreciation! So all's well that ends well!
