There's tremendous activity in Bollywood these days...

  • Pritish Nandy is starting a film with Sudhir Mishra, but it's the title that catches your attention instantly. Nandy has registered two titles, Bandra Bandstand and Carter Road, of which one title will be finalized. "It's about the aspirations of the youth living in this area," Nandy tells me. For those who're unaware, Bandstand and Carter Road are prime areas in Bandra [Mumbai] where the rich and famous live [aka Beverly Hills of Mumbai].
  • Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Eklavya, which was scheduled to hit the screens on November 10, has been shifted ahead. The film will now be released on December 08.
  • While the star cast of Victoria No. 203 remake is still in the process of finalization, producer Kamal Sadanah and director Ananth Narayan Mahadevan have already finalized the launch date of the film: It's Diwali, October 21.
