Katrina Kaif has been accepted by the Indian audience but the actress is still not fluent enough in speaking India's national language. Four films old Katrina's voice continues to be dubbed in Raj Kanwar's film Humko Deewana Kar Gaye.
Director producer Raj Kanwar explained that though Katrina is much westernized girl and lot of people advised him against signing her, she fitted the role perfectly. As far as language is concerned, she learnt Hindi for eight to nine months. She was provided a teacher.
However, Katrina's voice has been dubbed by a dubbing artiste, Mona Ghosh who is a friend of the Raj Kanwar. Mona explained Katrina attended the dubbings personally and the duo worked on her voice.
So even after four releases the audiences still haven't heard the actual voice of Katrina in Hindi.
