Re-working on script?

Another talk doing the rounds of the industry is that ace dress designer Manish Malhotra, who was planning to turn director with a 4-hero project, is working on a new script altogether. True? "The script wasn't okayed in the first place, so the question of finalizing the four heroes never arose," Suneel Darshan, who is producing Manish's directorial debut, informs me.

But isn't Manish working on the script yet? "Yes, we begin a two-week script session from March 5," Suneel confirms, "But we've decided that we won't start the film till we are completely sure about the writing. Besides, suggestions and ideas keep flowing all the while and it would be erroneous to state that he's working on a new plot."

As an after-thought, the reputed producer adds, "I am in no hurry to start the film, nor is he. Let's get the writing part organized first."
