Villain Ranjit in trouble

Actor Ranjit known for his villainous roles in films is in trouble. The actor and his wife were given a jail sentence for six months, since they issued a cheque of Rs.25 lakhs, which was dishonored. However, as of now the couple is out on bail. Joseph Gabriel, a friend of the actor had loaned him the money, way back in 2001. Ranjit had wanted to renovate his house, back then. However, when he returned the money, the cheque, bounced. The couple has a month's time to appeal to a higher court.
