<i>Umrao Jaan</i> costume auction

Director J. P. Dutta's film Umrao Jaan is in buzz as the producer-director of the movie has decided to auction the costumes of main character Umrao Jaan to help a charity organization. While name of that organization will be announced at the music launch of the film, which is to be held on September 28.

Another interesting fact about the movie is that most of its technicians and assistant directors on the sets were women. Umrao Jaan is a women centric film and talks about young Amiran who's kidnapped and sold to a brothel at the young age of nine.
