<i>Umrao Jaan</i> release postponed

The Diwali/Eid of 2006 promises to be a bonanza for Bollywood buffs, what with all the biggies scheduled for release. J.P.Dutta's ambitious Umrao Jaan was supposed to release at the same time along with Don and Dhoom 2. However, now it seems that the release date has been postponed from October 20th to November 24th. Apparently, the makers wanted to avoid a clash with Don and Dhoom 2.

Releasing all the films at the same time would definitely be detrimental to business. So for all those Ash and Abhishek fans, there is another month of waiting!
