Aamir Khan's smoking ban

Actor Aamir Khan has put out the cigarette in his life. When being asked about it by a fan, he admitted to it blatantly. His recent turnaround was even endorsed by a friend who said it has been six months since he puffed a cigarette. His friend made it clear that he decided to quit on his own - without anyone forcing him or even trying to convince him to.

His giving up of the cigarette has led him to impose, if I may, a rule that no one on the sets of his home production film Taare Zameen Pe would light while on the set.
