After having charmed his way to his fans" hearts, as a child actor and then a movie star, Aftab Shivdasani is all set to stir them once again, but this time as a script writer. Yup! It"s true that your chocolate faced hero turned into a scriptwriter along with his friend Ravindar Manga for 'Rising Sun Entertainment", the production company that he has floated. He said “It"s too early to talk about it, at least not before next year. All that I can say right now is that I am the sole proprietor of this company, but will be soon tying up with someone."

First a child actor, then a movie star, now into production and scriptwriting, when we asked him for the next 'itenary" on the menu, he sweetly replied “I think that it"s a gradual step of being an actor. The reason to start the production company is that I want to make movies the way I want. Also that, I believe in taking one step at a time. And trust me; I really do not know where I am headed. All that I can tell you is that I have a lot on my plate to keep myself occupied."

He also rubbished the rumors that he has cut down heavily on film assignments to concentrate on his production company. Speaking about his future assignments Aftab says that he has Speed, where he plays a negative role, then there"s Sanjay Gupta"s Dus Kahaniyaan and E Niwas" De Taali. He has recently also signed Ganesh Acharya"s Money Hai Toh Honey Hai which also stars Govinda, Manoj Bajpai, Celina Jaitley and Upen Patel. Speaking about his role in the film, Aftab says, “It"s not a comic role. But it"s definitely in the genre of Munnabhai and likes. It"s a feel-good film."
