Salman's sister Arpita and Arjun drifted apart

This is one of those well-kept secrets. Salman Khan"s little sister Arpita and Arjun Kapoor (Boney and Mona Kapoor"s son) have stopped seeing each other since a while now.

Amicable parting

Says a close friend, “Arjun and Arpita parted on amicable terms and both continue to be good friends. They broke off because Arjun was busy with Nikhil Advan"s Salaam-E-Ishq (he was one of the assistant directors) and Arpita wanted to concentrate on her studies (she"s doing fashion merchandising at a Bandra college). Arjun and Arpita discovered that they had gradually drifted apart. Today, both are single but people keep asking them about their relationship and it"s awkward."

No personal talk

Arpita doesn"t deny the split, but says, “It"s my personal life and I really can"t comment."

Arjun says, “Yes, it"s true that we are not seeing each other anymore. It"s been a while since we broke up, but I don"t want to talk about the reasons, as it"s personal. However, Arpita and I are still friends. I go over to her house every other day."
