Deepika Padukone achieved name and fame overnight, while many take years together. She modelled all the way to films through Kannada film Aishwarya opposite Upendra. However, she became a household name after director Farah Khan chose her to act opposite Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om. Now, she has turned a big star with OSO turning a blockbuster.

She is perhaps the most popular upcoming heroine in Bollywood today. Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam Kapoor is also turning hot following her good performance in her debut film Saawariya but Deepika seems to have gone ahead of her. People don't seem to have enough of her, as news about her never seems to stop.
