Deepika on her engagement

So much has been happening to actress Deepika Padukone ever since the release of her debut film Om Shanti Om opposite Shahrukh Khan. She has earned name and fame overnight but not without paying the price. She has been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late. It was reported that she got engaged to cricketer Yuvraj Singh but she said that it is not true.

The news was doing the rounds that she got engaged to Yuvraj after the recently concluded test match against Pakistan in Bangalore. However, she said that it is the strangest thing she has ever heard. The news may not be true but she did spent quality time with the cricketer on his birthday.

She was earlier linked to actor Ranbir Kapoor and Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In fact, Dhoni had even expressed his admiration for her in the open.
