Gauri Khan enters glam world

What keeps people wonder all these years is how Gauri Khan, wife of king Khan Shahrukh, managed to keep away from the big screens. But this time around, she is in for a surprise. Yes, she is going to appear for her latest production film Om Shanti Om, which has Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles.

She shot with hubby Shahrukh Khan recently for the end-credit song sequence. She will appear in the film as the official producer of the film. Farah Khan directs this film being produced under Shahrukh Khan's home banner Red Chillies Entertainment.

In fact, Gauri was supposed to make her first screen appearance in Shahrukh's earlier film Main Hoon Na but she was too shy to face the camera. But this time, she seems to have gathered all the strength. Interestingly, she once modeled for the diamond jewellery designed by Maheep Sanjay Kapoor and also hosted a weekly Hindi music countdown show called Oye in the 1990s. She is also the face of the fashion line Aftershock. Besides this, she also took care of her hubby's costume in films in the 1990s.

Now, will Gauri slowly turn into a full fledge actress? This is a million dollar question indeed!
