Nikita Anand on cloud nine

Nikita Anand is walking on air, with elation and surprise. Although her debut film, Prakash Jha's Dil, Dosti, Etc got a mixed response from the critics, her performance was unanimously declared noticeable at the least. Taran Adarsh of India FM said, "Nikita Anand has the trappings of a fine actress". Praveen Lance Fernandes of Indiatimes agrees, adding, "She looks the part completely and does well for herself."

The Beauty Queen thinks they are being kind. Barely hiding her excitement, she says, "It is heartening to note that everyone from critics to the audience have encouraging words for my performance." She adds that it has only strengthened her resolve to work harder in the future.
