Rakhi Sawant performs 'Phuljhadi Lavani'

You can love her or you can hate her but you cannot ignore her. She is none other than oomph item girl Rakhi Sawant. Wherever she goes, she creates headlines. Whether it is Kannada or Bollywood, Rakhi's magic works everywhere. After invading Bollywood, Rakhi is all set to capture Marathi film.

She has been roped by Arun Kachare to perform Maharashtrian folk dance lavani, in Balirajache Rajya Yeu De. Rakhi usually do hot, steamy and sexy movements in her item songs, but this time she will perform an ethnic number. "I'm performing an amazing lavani, a 'phuljhadi lavani', says a visibly excited Rakhi.

The film is about the plight of farmers in the state. Earlier, a documentary was feature on the same topic but this time director Arun Kachare has raised up the issue in a wider dimension. It has a star cast of Sachin Khedekar, Neena Kulkarni, Ashok Saraf and Girish Oak.

The film is running houseful and people are going for first, second, third......shows. There is so much rush for the film that movie buffs fails to get tickets. Whoever has watched the film they are singing Rakhi's praise. And cine goers are, of course, pepped up about the item girl's sizzling number. "Rakhi usually does item numbers, now she has done a lavani and it's much better," a fan Raju Dardekar says enthusiastically. There is nothing new, Rakhi always rocks.
