Ram Gopal Varma is shocked to read things about himself in Tuesday morning's paper. "I never knew I was such a manipulator! I'm supposed to be instigating my new discovery Raj Sachdev and the director Ramesh Khatkar just to get even with Mohit Ahlawat. If I was doing all of this where would I've time to make a movie? No one mentioned in this story, has been contacted by this brilliant journalist. Neither me nor Raj nor Mohit nor Khatkar have said anything. It's like a wolf sniffing out meat from any place possible. ...

I've never had any actor or technician under contract....Beyond my work place I've no interest in what any of my actors or technicians do. I do not advice Raj. Who am I to advise him after making a flop like Shiva. I'm in no position to advice anyone. I've no interest in advising anyone. I'm not here to make anyone's career. I need to make my own career."
