Farhan Akthar's Voice from the Sky

After directing Don, director Farhan Akthar is ready to take on his next project - a period film. The film, which is titled -Voice from the Sky - will be set during the beginning of the 20th century. The cast of the film will be led by none other than actor Irrfan Khan - someone for whom Farhan has had a lot of respect for a long time.

The film will be based on the discovery of the telephone as the new communication gadget. This film will be made in memory of his mother. After this film, Farhan will proceed with work on the list of planned flicks that intends to produce under his banner Excel Entertainment.

The directors whom Farhan will give opportunities to with these films are his sister Zoya Akhtar, assocaite Reema Katgi, Abhinay Deol and Abhishek Kapoor. He plans to make his production house one that will groom talent. The film will also have hourdes of children in it.
