Shilpa in talks to become the next Bond girl!

London, (ANI): Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty is reportedly set to become the next Bond girl.

Shetty, who made it to international headlines after winning the Celebrity Big Brother, is said to be in talks with 007 bosses and is about to "seal the deal."

And movie sources claim that the 31-year-old actress is being described as the "perfect leading lady" for current James Bond, Daniel Craig in Bond 23.

"Shilpa is having secret talks with the top brass who are working on the next movie. As far as they are concerned, she has it all - she is beautiful, feisty and a great actress," the Daily Mail quoted a source, as saying.

Reports have also said that the film makers are desperate to sign the actress because of her immense popularity and fan following across Asia.

"But they also want someone who is a big star prior to the film, which Shilpa is. She has a huge following in Bollywood as well as a number of fans in the Western world - especially in Britain - so she will be great for the box office sales," the source said.

The filming of Bond 23 is expected to begin sometime next year, once production on Craig's second Bond movie, with the current working title of Bond 22, is completed.
