Bikini, mini skirts Vidya's favourite clothes

Recently while taking about Vidya Balan's new make over in Heyy Babyy, designer Manish Malhotra let the cat out of the bag. Her character in the film was a rich girl brought up in Australia. So despite hit being hip, cool and in sync, it couldn't be too explosive - something which Vidya apparently favours.

When he was working on her look for the film, he has to beg her not to go for the bikini, short skirts etc. look because it was not like her character in her role. But it was her character like she really was. So Vidya, since you prefer to wear short skirts and bikinis, when will we see you in them? Not bad huh - when the actress made her debut in Parineeta she was the ultimate eternal beauty comparable to Madhuri Dixit. Even in her next few releases, she played the good girl.

Heyy Babyy is the acid test for Vidya's acid test for a probable image makeover. Who knows if it works she might just go for the look that she really yearns for. But with the gracefulness of the actress, you can be sure that however far from the line she goes in the future she is bound to carry out the look with style.

Not bad progress from the self confessed simple Tamil aiyar. What say?
