People of Punjab wins Amitabh's heart

The good news is that Amitabh Bachchan has fully recovered from the viral infection that had forced him to return to Bombay from Shimla, as we had told you earlier this month.

As per sources, Amitabh Bachchan is now in Chandigarh where he is shooting for UTV Motion Pictures' Shoebite. Bachchan reached Chandigarh on Wednesday. Before that he had been shooting at Morinda since Monday. The shooting venue for the Sujit Sircar directed film has now shifted to the Panjkoha Palace and the adjoining bypass.

Amitabh Bachchan was overwhelmed by the love and affection of the people of Punjab and also by the lush green fields and surroundings of the prosperous state. He expressed his views after the Wednesday shooting schedule of Shoebite.

While on Shoebite, apart from the megastar, the film also features Sarika, Jimmy Shergill and Diya Mirza, and is listed for release, sometimes in October.
