Deepika's ex flame debuts in Bollywood

Deepika Padukone is not the only one who has cashed on the success of Om Shanti Om. Her ex beau Nihar Pandya is all set to follow her into filmdom. Both Deepika and Nihar started their career as models but Deepika took a stride forward and had a dream debut opposite Shahrukh Khan leaving Nihar behind. All that is about to change when director Prashant Chadha casts Nihar in his upcoming movie.

Nihar and Deepika had starred in Himesh Reshammiya's music videos. Deepika was seen in the Aap Kaa Surroor video which was later made into a movie directed by Prashant Chadha. Nihar had played a had played a cameo in Salman Khan starer Marigold. This time around the Nihar will be playing a more substantial role.

Nihar and Deepika had broken up just before the actress started working on Om Shanti Om. After its success Deepika Padukone had dated cricketers M S Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh for a short while before reuniting with Ranbir Kapoor. The two stars have declared their love for each other and will be next seen in Bachna Ae Haseeno.
