Ekta Kapoor having a rocking time

It is quite a normal practice in Bollywood in today's times for actors, directors, producers and all those who are associated with a film to have a song from their film playing as the caller tune on their cell phones. As they say charity begins at home, a film promotion too begins at home for them it seems!

But one has to laud Ekta Kapoor for her sense of fair play. As we all know her produced C Kkompany was released last Friday, it would be natural for her to keep a caller tune of a song from her own film. But we were surprised to know that the caller tune one hears when you call her is that of a song from the film Rock On. Now Rock On was released on the same day along with C Kkompany and has emerged triumphant at the box office while C Kkompany has not only garnered poor reviews but poor collections as well.

One can frankly admit that very few producers would have such a big heart as to promote a rival film so close to and soon after the release of his/her own film. But then not many know that Abhishek Kapoor, the director of Rock On is Ekta's cousin. Well C Kkompany may star her real brother Tusshar Kapoor but it seems Ekta is a bigger fan of her cousin!
