Ishaa Koppikar irritating Hello Darling co stars

Ishaa Koppikar has been allegedly throwing tantrums on the sets of Mukta Arts' Hello Darling, directed by Manoj Tiwari. The film also stars Celina Jaitley, Gul Panag, Chunky Pandey and Javed Jaffrey. Says a source from the unit, "Ishaa has been throwing tantrums on the sets of Hello Darling ever since she signed Sooraj Barjatya's Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi with Sonu Sood. Ishaa considers herself a cut above the rest and conducts acting workshops for Celina and Gul on the sets.

If they weren't so irritated, they'd have found it funny. There are regular showdowns and fights on the sets between the leading ladies but nobody can complain, as Ishaa would not give dates otherwise. They have to complete the film."

According to the source it's not just Ishaa's acting tips that are making the other stars upset. "Ishaa keeps the unit waiting for five hours at a stretch, continuously asks for costume changes and demands a single van every time she shoots. The shooting is on at Film City and sometimes the actresses have to share rooms. Ishaa feels she is on a higher plane and doesn't need to share rooms with lesser mortals. The outfits are never to Ishaa's liking so she always complains about them."

Chunky Pandey, who features in the film, states that he is unaware about Ishaa's tantrums as he is not cast opposite her. But Chunky mentions that "once when Celina, Ishaa, Gul and I had to shoot a song together, Ishaa kept us waiting for four hours. She claimed she was stuck in a traffic jam because of a rally in Shivaji Park.

Celina was upset as she had to go for another shoot. But I have no issues with Ishaa, having worked with her in Ramu's D Company. We have always shared a great chemistry." Chunky feels such tantrums and fights are bound to happen on the sets where there are three heroines. He says, "This kind of insecurity and fighting over vans and costumes are bound to happen when you have three leading ladies. Each one will try to dominate the other. I pity poor Javed - he's not only opposite Ishaa but also has scenes with each of the girls."

Ishaa says, "Who has been telling you these things? It's not true. Other actors also come late and not just me. Neither do I throw tantrums. I share a fabulous rapport with Celina and Gul so I don't think they would spread such rumours. Maybe the buzz has arisen because I am shooting simultaneously shooting for Sooraj's film and Hello Darling and attend shows and events. I am stretched for time. As for asking for single vans, I have my own van I travel in."

Ishaa insists that we talk to Hello Darling director Manoj Tiwari and Manoj is quick to jump to Ishaa's defence. He says, "Far from throwing tantrums, Ishaa has been most co-operative. She was in Ahmedabad the whole night and reported for shooting in the morning yesterday. She has even adjusted her time with Sooraj's film and has given us February 19 to shoot for a half shift. There is no tension on the sets."
