Kareena and Bipasha patch up after seven years

Shahrukh and Salman Khan perhaps could learn something from B-Town's hottest babes. After seven years of bitching and clawing each other out, Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu have finally patched up (we sure hope the Khans don't have to wait that long to patch up!).

Says a source, "After a long drawn out war, B-Town is breathing a sigh of relief. Kareena and Bipasha have patched up. Guests at Saif's birthday party, held at Four Seasons in Worli, were shocked to see Bipasha walking in with Ranbir Kapoor. It is learnt that Kareena had decided to forget the past and in her typically emotional way, invited Bips personally for the party. Bebo has been telling everybody that Bips looked the hottest in Race. When Kareena called, Bips was pleasantly surprised by Kareena's warmth and immediately accepted the invite. At the party, Kareena and Bipasha were seen chatting and bonding."

The source adds, "Since the last one year, there has been a distinct mellowing of attitudes between Bipasha and Kareena. Last week, when Kareena saw Bachna Ae Haseeno, she messaged Bips saying she had loved her performance in the film. That broke the ice and then Bebo invited Bips to Saif's party. Bips too has been praising Bebo's talent so the patch-up was all but inevitable."

Bipasha had stated, 'Kareena and I had a problem so many years back, that today, I don't even remember what it was. I don't know Kareena as a person but today I can say openly I don't have any problems with her. With constant repetition, the problem got aggravated but I hold no grudges now. She's a wonderful actress."Says Bipasha, "Yes it's true that Kareena personally invited me to their party. It was very sweet of her and we all enjoyed it a lot."

Kareena and Bipasha had a fight in Switzerland when they were shooting for Ajnabee (2001). The two had verbally clawed each other over Kareena's designer, Manish Malhotra giving a helping hand to Bipasha without Kareena's consent. Bebo had reportedly called Bips a 'kaali billi'. Things between the two actresses worsened when Kareena said on Karan Johar's chat show, that she would not like to work with Bipasha's boyfriend John Abraham because she found his face 'expressionless.'

The Bong bombshell retaliated in another episode by saying that Kareena had 'too many expressions' on her face when she performs on screen. Things again soured between the two actresses when Bips was shooting for Race. Reportedly, Bipasha and Kareena's present boyfriend Saif had been romantically linked during the shooting of Race. The source adds, "But at the party, Saif and Bipasha, who had been good friends earlier greeted each other with the same warmth and familiarity as they used to in the past.
